Our client is software house based in Johar Town, Lahore near Expo Center. They are looking to hire a Shopify Developer with 2 hyears plus experience. Following are the details;
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer who possesses end-to-end knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing custom themes, enhancing existing functionality, building new features, and creating Shopify custom apps (public/private/custom). You will work closely with our design, product, and marketing teams to deliver best-in-class Shopify solutions that are scalable, secure, and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities:
- Theme Development & Customization:
- Build, modify, and maintain responsive Shopify themes.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional Shopify storefronts using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript.
- Customize Shopify templates and sections to enhance user experience.
- Feature Development:
- Develop custom features and functionalities as per business needs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and Shopify apps to extend store capabilities.
- Optimize store speed, performance, and SEO.
- Custom App Development:
- Build and maintain private or public Shopify apps using Node.js/React or Ruby.
- Use Shopify Admin APIs, Storefront APIs, and GraphQL to build backend services.
- Manage OAuth, webhooks, and custom integrations with external platforms (e.g., CRMs, ERPs).
- Shopify Store Management:
- Oversee store setup, configuration, and third-party app integrations.
- Implement and test new Shopify Plus features (if applicable).
- Collaborate with team members to support store launches, migrations, and upgrades.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure cross-browser, device, and platform compatibility.
- Conduct regular testing, debugging, and performance analysis.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development (themes, apps, storefronts).
- Strong knowledge of Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL, Webhooks).
- Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, or PHP for Shopify custom apps.
- Familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with tools like Postman, Ngrok, and Shopify CLI.
- Understanding of performance optimization and SEO for e-commerce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Shopify Plus and multi-store architecture.
- Knowledge of headless commerce and JAMstack using Shopify Storefront API.
- Experience with third-party service integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers).
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Shopify Reports).
- Basic knowledge of DevOps, AWS, or serverless functions is a plus.
Soft Skills:

The timing for position is 10 am to 7 PM and Salary range is PKR 120k to 170k.
